 Branding Art Director 

We are looking for a talented and experienced Branding Art Director to engage in both art direction and design work. In this dynamic role, you will not only lead our design process in developing holistic brand identity, packaging, web, and photography projects but also be hands-on in designing our most high-profile projects across different mediums.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in a senior brand design and art direction role within a notable branding agency, crafting compelling visual identities that span a variety of platforms and touchpoints.
  • Exceptional design aesthetic and versatile body of work and a proven ability to deliver award-winning projects across different styles, ranging from minimalist, high touchpoint brands to more dynamic, expressive brands.
  • A robust portfolio of branding work with projects within luxury, fashion, and consumer packaged goods industries.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing creative teams and delivering impactful work that is disruptive and boundary-pushing.
  • Determined and ambitious with a clear point of view and a leader inside the organization.
  • Strategic thinking skills and a passion for critical analysis and problem-solving.
  • A curious and empathetic mindset motivated to deliver successful projects for clients that achieve their objectives.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills with an ability and desire to build close relationships with clients.


Responsibilities

Art Direction:

  • Lead art direction across various projects, overseeing the creation of impactful, holistic, and award-winning brand identities and guiding the visual aspects of packaging, web design, and photography.

Hands-On Branding Design Work:

  • Actively participate in the design and creation of holistic brand identities and visual assets for our most high profile projects, setting the standard for the quality and creativity of our work.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Mentor designers and junior team members, providing guidance and support to nurture their talents and skills.

Client Engagement:

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with clients, working closely with them to understand their vision and goals.

Agency Branding:

  • Contribute to our agency’s own branding and identity initiatives, demonstrating your creative prowess and vision.
Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all creative outputs are of the highest quality and align with client expectations and brand strategy.

Presenting:

  • Leading the presentation of all design work with clients – effectively communicating the thinking behind our work and being open to feedback.
